9/2:  Labor Day – School Closed – Busy Bee Closed
9/19 – 9/20:  St. Judes Trike-a-Thon (Money collected goes to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital)
9/27:  Public Schools Closed – Busy Bee Daycare Closed (Youth Day at Fair – Preschoolers may make up these days)

October 2013

10/3:  Fire House Trip 10:00am (Parents drive – All Preschoolers are invited that day from both classes – trip NOT confirmed)
10/17 OR 10/24:  Farm Tip (Serenity Farm & Kaspers Kastle – Both classes – Parents drive – They charge $10 to enter – I will collect money before we go. They give us a discount)
10/18:  Public Schools Closed – Daycare Day – Preschoolers may come or make up
10/31:  Halloween Party – Both classes – 10:00-11:00am – Bring Costumes

November 2013

11/11:  Public Schools Closed for Veteran’s Day – Daycare Day
11/27:  Public Schools Closed – No Preschool – Daycare Day
11/28 – 11/29:  Thanksgiving Holiday – All Schools Closed – Busy Bee Closed

December 2013

12/20:  Christmas Party for all Preschoolers 10:00am (Santa is Coming! Everyone brings a wrapped gift with their name on it. Parents signup on snack party sheet for goodies.)
12/23 – 1/1:  Christmas Vacation – Busy Bee School Closed – Winter Break – Limited Daycare on Dec 23, 27 & 30 – CLOSED 12/24 – 12/26, 12/31 – 1/1 – Please signup for Daycare on those days

January 2014

1/2:  Busy Bee Re-opens
1/20:  Public Schools Closed – Martin Luther King Day – Busy Bee Closed
1/29:  Public Schools Closed – Daycare Only – Preschoolers welcome to come, or make up
1/30:  Outreach program from Nature Center for all Preschoolers

February 2014

2/5:  Public Schools Closed – No Preschool – Daycare Day
2/14:  Small Valentines’ Day Party at Busy Bee for all Preschoolers – Bring your Valentines’ that day
2/17:  Public Schools Closed – Presidents’ Day – Busy Bee Closed

March 2014

3/21:  Public Schools Closed – Daycare Day at Busy Bee

April 2014

4/9:  Visit to Nature Center at Cypress Swamp 10:00-11:30am, Leaving school at 9:30am (Parents and teachers drive)
4/11:  Easter Party for both classes
4/14 – 4/21:  Easter Vacation – No Preschool – Signup for Daycare if needed
4/18:  Busy Bee Closed
4/21:  Busy Bee Closed
4/24:  Marine Museum Solomons – Picnic and Play at Cove Pt. Trip (if nice weather) 10:00-11:30am (Picnic at Museum, Play at Park)

May 2014

5/1:  Trip to paint and pottery for Mothers Day $15/each
5/15:  Washington DC Zoo Trip (Bus) – All Preschoolers and parents 8:30-3:45, Cost $30 for each family. Bring or buy lunches (Leave from Safeway Shopping Center – we  need everyone to go – Can’t pay for bus without you!!)
5/26:  Memorial Day – Busy Bee Closed

June 2014

6/5:  Trip to Dunkirk Park for picnic and play – for everyone at Busy Bee Preschool
6/11:  Busy Bee Graduation – Last Day of Preschool & School
6/13:  First Day of Summer Session

July 2014

7/4:  Independence Day – Busy Bee Closed

There will be a new calendar for summer session. Thursday is our field trip day.
